Position Summary:
The SEO Manager is responsible for optimizing critical digital channels to ensure consistent, high quality lead generation. Responsible for the day-to-day management of all SEO strategies related to the website, social channels, PPC, and programmatic display. Under the leadership of the Director of Marketing, the SEO Manager is challenged to help build a strong sales pipeline of highly qualified leads that drive high conversion percentages and effective sales appointments. The SEO Manager will also prioritize brand building opportunities to achieve overall business objectives. Success depends on partnership with marketing, sales, product, and operations peers to execute effective strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
“Own” the corporate website and ensure it is fully optimized and relevant in technical, performance and content expectations.
Develop and implement effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to drive qualified traffic and strong conversions.
Coordinate content, design, social media, pay-per-click (PPC) marketing and other activities.
Conduct keyword research to guide content teams.
Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes.
Optimize website content, landing pages, social media, and paid search copy.
Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g., link-building).
Demonstrate a passion for analytics and reporting on critical KPIs (traffic, rankings, engagements, conversions, and other SEO elements) to allow for proactive, strategic decision-making.
Keep abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends.
Partner with marketing peers to design and implement multiple comprehensive campaigns to create demand and build the brand while exceeding business objectives.
Support the management of the lead journey from source to sf.com.
An understanding of brand positioning to create successful, strategic campaigns.
Other duties as required.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Business, or related discipline.
3-5 years’ experience as SEO Manager, SEM Manager, or similar role.
Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS.
Experience with SEO reporting.
Significant experience in Social media strategy, execution, and reporting.
Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g., Conductor, Screaming Frog, MOZ) and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends).
Proven experience of the MarTech stack, especially marketing automation, salesforce.com, social channels, HootSuite, WordPress, etc.
Experience in working with 3rd party agencies to successfully expedite strategies and achieve business outcomes.
Budget and expense management experience.
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
